The Suffern Titans best Magic in shootout, 10-8

The bats were busy at New Windsor on Saturday, and when the dust cleared the Suffern Titans had a 10-8 win over Magic in seven innings.

The two teams combined for 21 hits, including five extra base hits.

The Suffern Titans would not relinquish the lead as Magic was unable to weather a five-run fourth inning deficit.

Magic scored on a fielder's choice, a two-run double by Duscus, and an RBI single by Siebar in the fourth inning, an RBI single by Duscus and a sacrifice fly by Siebar in the sixth inning, and a home run by Riefenhauser in the seventh inning. Unfortunately, Magic wasn't able to take the lead back.

John Malm got a hit in each of his three at bats. Malm singled in the second and fourth innings and doubled in the sixth inning.

Duscus racked up three RBIs on two hits for Magic.

Nick Assad, Justin Rosenblum, Malm, Kevin Hill, Mitch Brodsky, Spencer Klein, and Robbie Cella all collected hits for the Suffern Titans. Malm led the team with three hits.

In the bottom of the first, Magic grabbed the early lead, 1-0. Delhanty got things going for Magic with a single. A stolen base then moved Delhanty from first to second. Jorde singled, bringing home Delhanty.

The Suffern Titans didn't relinquish the lead after scoring six runs in the fourth inning when they scored on a two-run double by Klein, a fielder's choice, two singles, and a wild pitch.

DaCosta helps the Suffern Titans down Pbi black 6-1

Jared DaCosta knocked in three runners, helping the Suffern Titans to a 6-1 victory over Pbi black on Monday at Suffern.

Kevin Shapiro looked sharp on the rubber. Pbi black managed just two hits off of the the Suffern Titans' pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked four and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Erik Glover was superb in relief, pitching two scoreless innings while collecting three strikeouts and allowing one walk and one hit.

The Suffern Titans piled up the steals, swiping eight bags in all. DaCosta, Justin Rosenblum, Jon Malm, and Gabe Cohen each had one stolen base and Michael Siegel and Glover each had two stolen bases.
