Malm helps the Suffern Titans down the Lefty's Lightning 4-0

Jon Malm had a good game at the plate to help the Suffern Titans to a 4-0 victory in six innings over the Lefty's Lightning on Monday at Clifton .

The Suffern Titans were paced by the production of Malm, who reached base two times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. Malm tripled in the sixth inning.

Nick Assad worked out of eight tough situations for the Suffern Titans. He pitched five innings and allowed no earned runs on five hits. Assad faced his toughest situation in the fifth inning.

The Suffern Titans jumped out to an early lead on the Northern Valley Lightning and captured a 20-6 victory on Sunday at Northvale.

The game was decided quickly as the Suffern Titans exerted their will early with 11 runs in the first three innings.

A sacrifice fly by Jared DaCosta in the first inning and an RBI double by Gabe Cohen, an RBI single by Chris Gragnani, and a two-run double by Kevin Shapiro in the second inning fueled the Suffern Titans' offense early.

Cohen put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Suffern Titans.

#31 got a hit in each of his two at bats. #31 singled in the second and fourth innings.

The Suffern Titans pounded the Northern Valley Lightning pitching, as eight hitters combined for 17 hits, 16 RBIs and 18 runs scored.

Assad helps the Suffern Titans down Blaze 7-3

Nick Assad went 4-4 at the plate, helping the Suffern Titans to a 7-3 victory over Blaze on Saturday at Suffern High School.

Blaze had no answer for Michael Siegel, who cruised on the mound. Blaze managed just three hits off of the the Suffern Titans' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out five during his four innings of work.

Nick Santos boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate, to pace Blaze. Santos singled in the second, fourth, and sixth innings.

Jared DaCosta threw one inning of scoreless ball for the Suffern Titans.

Suffern Titans comes up short despite Shapiro's gem, lose 2-1 to Blaze

Kevin Shapiro allowed just two runs on Saturday at Suffern High School, but the Suffern Titans couldn't get the offense going in a 2-1 defeat to Blaze.

Blaze's Connor Clark showed his talents on both sides of the diamond with a strong game on the rubber and at the plate.

Clark racked up two RBIs on one hit for Blaze. Clark tripled in the seventh inning.

Clark baffled the Suffern Titans, striking out five batters. Blaze's pitcher gave up just four hits over five shutout innings.

Clark pushed Blaze ahead, in the seventh inning, and the lead lasted until the final out. Williams singled to start the seventh. He then went from first to second on a single by Flores. Finally, Clark came to the plate with the game scoreless in the seventh inning and tripled, scoring Williams and Flores.

Shapiro kept the ball around the plate, throwing strikes on 64 of his 103 pitches. Shapiro collected 12 strike outs and walked one for the Suffern Titans.

The Suffern Titans' lone run of the ballgame came in the seventh inning on a groundout by Mitch Brodsky.

The two teams combined for 26 hits, including five extra base hits.

The Suffern Titans blew out the PBI Eagles thanks to 13 hits, including three extra base hits. The Suffern Titans scored six runs in the fifth on an RBI single by Chris Gragnani, an RBI single by Jon Malm, a hit by pitch, a bases loaded walk, and a sacrifice fly by Justin Rosenblum.

Malm racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Suffern Titans.

#35 racked up three RBIs on two hits for the PBI Eagles. #35 singled in the second inning and doubled in the fourth inning.

The Suffern Titans took down the Bulls 11-3 on Saturday at New Windsor after slamming the Bulls with eight runs in the fifth inning.

Justin Rosenblum had a sound game at the plate for the Suffern Titans. Rosenblum went 2-3, drove in one and scored three runs. Rosenblum singled in the second and fifth innings.

Michael Siegel kept the Bulls off balance while he was on the rubber. Siegel held the Bulls hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked four and struck out two.

Blumenau racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Bulls. Blumenau homered in the fifth inning.

Aggressive baserunning led to seven steals for the Suffern Titans. John Malm and Kevin Hill each had one stolen base, Robbie Cella had two stolen bases, and Rosenblum had three stolen bases.

The Suffern Titans best Magic in shootout, 10-8

The bats were busy at New Windsor on Saturday, and when the dust cleared the Suffern Titans had a 10-8 win over Magic in seven innings.

The two teams combined for 21 hits, including five extra base hits.

The Suffern Titans would not relinquish the lead as Magic was unable to weather a five-run fourth inning deficit.

Magic scored on a fielder's choice, a two-run double by Duscus, and an RBI single by Siebar in the fourth inning, an RBI single by Duscus and a sacrifice fly by Siebar in the sixth inning, and a home run by Riefenhauser in the seventh inning. Unfortunately, Magic wasn't able to take the lead back.

John Malm got a hit in each of his three at bats. Malm singled in the second and fourth innings and doubled in the sixth inning.

Duscus racked up three RBIs on two hits for Magic.

Nick Assad, Justin Rosenblum, Malm, Kevin Hill, Mitch Brodsky, Spencer Klein, and Robbie Cella all collected hits for the Suffern Titans. Malm led the team with three hits.

In the bottom of the first, Magic grabbed the early lead, 1-0. Delhanty got things going for Magic with a single. A stolen base then moved Delhanty from first to second. Jorde singled, bringing home Delhanty.

The Suffern Titans didn't relinquish the lead after scoring six runs in the fourth inning when they scored on a two-run double by Klein, a fielder's choice, two singles, and a wild pitch.

DaCosta helps the Suffern Titans down Pbi black 6-1

Jared DaCosta knocked in three runners, helping the Suffern Titans to a 6-1 victory over Pbi black on Monday at Suffern.

Kevin Shapiro looked sharp on the rubber. Pbi black managed just two hits off of the the Suffern Titans' pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked four and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Erik Glover was superb in relief, pitching two scoreless innings while collecting three strikeouts and allowing one walk and one hit.

The Suffern Titans piled up the steals, swiping eight bags in all. DaCosta, Justin Rosenblum, Jon Malm, and Gabe Cohen each had one stolen base and Michael Siegel and Glover each had two stolen bases.
