The Cobb Reds took on the Cobb Braves on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Both teams struggled to get anything going offensively as the first half of the game was a pitchers duel. With the score tied 0-0 going into the bottom of the 6th, the Reds were able to get 2 runs on the board with a base hit and two errors by the Braves defense. The Reds would add 2 more runs in the 7th and 3 more runs in the 8th thanks to Gary Tanner's 3-run home run to right center. The Braves managed to score a run on a passed ball with 2 outs in the top of the 9th. Shaun Rodecker pitched a stellar game, going 9 innings while allowing just 5 hits and striking out 17 batters.
Next up for the Reds is the Expos.

The Cobb Reds are looking forward to the 2014 season. After adding several players the Reds hope to make a huge impact in the MABL's National League. The Reds looked strong in their final preseason scrimmage game against the Brewers. Opening Day is this Saturday, 12:30pm at Campbell Middle School as the Reds will host the Cobb Braves.
