April 12th vs Longview fiber hard fought contest Eli Lovingfoss pitched 4 strong innings, the game went in to the seventh inning tied 2-2.  The wheels came off for the bigdogs and mental errors and fustration let seven runns cross the plate and Monticello lost 9-2.

 

April 26th the big dogs played a double header in the frst game the bigdogs broke out the bats and beat Olympic drug 12-2. Eli Lovingfoss had another strong outing going 4 innings and leaving the game with a 5-1 lead Devan Katzenberger and Austin Wagdahl finnished the game off allowing 1 run over 3 innings.Great timely hitting by the bigdogs plated 7more runs over the last 3 innings.

In the second game of the day Monticello stayed hot at the plate putting 8 runs on the board in the first inning on their way to a 19-9 win over Longview Orthopedic. Ryan Shulz, Evan Lovingfoss, Chase Rathmell, Alex Lovingfoss, Austin Wagdahl and Devin Katzenberger all took the mound for Monticello and had strong ooperformances.
