Player of the month: (Oct 4/08) Santino Dewreede

Santino who was voted Stars tournamnet MVP, showed a lot of grit and effort for the Stars. During the first game he injured his pinky on his left hand and still lead the team with a .500 on base percentage. His pitching stood out and his defense was solid. Great job Santino. Honorable Mention Hitting - Steve Johnston who hit .435 and drove in 7 Runs while scoring 8 runs. Fielding - Jeff Cochran who made no errors in the field and his defence helped the Stars win a close game. Most Improved - Jason Walker who's Batting Average was .316.

Stars lose in semi-finals of the Naba 28 Wood to the Denver Bears.

Next Stars tournament will be the California Kickoff Classic January 17 - 19. Stars will compete in the 28 Open Division.

NABA WORLD SERIES 2008

Congratulations to the Stars 18A Aluminum team for winning their division at the N.A.B.A. World Series tournament in Phoenix. Stars were 8-0 and only allowed 12 Runs against.
