| The Vancouver Jayhawks swept through the Southern Washington Senior Babe Ruth State Championship July 5th-8th at Louis Bloch Park in Camas, Washington. With only one game not being stopped early due to the ten run rule, the Jayhawks made quick work of the rest of the field to earn a spot in the Pacific Northwest Regional Tournament in Kent, Washington next week. |

| At 14-1, the Vancouver Jayhawks finished the regular season as the Southwest Washington Senior Babe Ruth League champion. As champion, the Jayhawks will take the league's number one seed into the state tournament which will be play played July 5th-9th in Camas, Washington. |

After winning the opening game of the Castle Rock Father's Day Tournament this weekend against Hamer Electric of Longview 7-2, the Jayhawks fell short in the winner's bracket semifinals against Hoquiam 4-1, and then were eliminated in the loser's bracket against host Castle Rock 2-1. |

The Jayhawks sprinted out to a 10-1 first inning lead and never looked back as they defeated the Camas Aqua Sox 15-1 in a league contest at Fort Vancouver High School. After surrendering a run in the top of the first, the Jayhawks responded with a huge bottom of the first inning in the route. |

The Vancouver Jayhawks swept a key league double header against previously unbeaten Prairie Hardball on Sunday at Trapper Field 12-2 and 2-1 to take over sole posession of first place in the league standings. |

After earning a number one seed out of pool play with 10-1 and 5-3 victories, the Jayhawks defeated Raymond Big Al's 8-3 in the quarterfinals and Camas Granite 11-3 in the semifinals before falling in the championship game to host Hoquiam 8-3. |

The Vancouver Jayhawks will begin their 2012 summer campaign tonight with a league opener against Granite Construction from Camas. The Jayhawks enter 2012 with high expectations due to their loaded roster with depth at every position. On top of depth, the Jayhawks are also big on experience, with 12 seniors and one college player leading a team of all upper-classmen. The Jayhawks complete roster includes 18 total members, with only 13 on the regular roster and five used as tournament add ons. |

| The 2012 Jayhawk baseball schedule has been announced after a meeting of league coaches last week. The Jayhawks, who are participating in the Southwest Washington Senior Babe Ruth league, will have 15 league contests on the schedule. On top of the league slate will be tournaments in Castle Rock on Fathers Day weekend and at Hoquiam's historic Olympic Stadium June 1st-3rd. Should the Jayhawks finish in the top three in the league, they will compete at the Southern Washington State Championships in Camas, Washington's Louis Bloch Park in early July with a shot at reaching the Regional Championships which will be held in Kent, Washington the following weekend. |
