The Knights got back to the diamond this weekend to get ready for the upcoming season.  They got out to a nice start, just like in the first game, by scoring a run in the first inning.  The offense decided to hang around for the afternoon and the Knights put up nine runs in total, a third of that came off the bat of Duke Gastos with a huge bases clearing double in the thrid inning.  Jesse Lane ran around the bases and slid many times even though he was wearing shorts...that's some hustle right there. The Knights have shown that they will bring the bats however the defensive side of the game is suspect at this current time.  But hey that's what practice is for right?  There may be one on Wednesday weather permitting.
