With one more summerball team still to play ,Aldergrove Minor has 2 provincal champions and 2 great efforts at PeeWee AAA and a Finalist at Midget AA ,this is the best year to date and with next year being the 10th anniversary of the offical opening of the Aldergrove Athletic park

     Great Job by all Teams Coaches and Parents.

Congratulations to Darren Rock on being awarded the Coach of the Year award by B C Minor following the Aldergrove Bantam AAA team winning the Western Championships . If you see him up at the park umpiring do remember he was a coach .

The Aldergrove Dodgers want to make sure that everyone connected with Aldergrove Minor baseball is aware of the upcoming night to support a gentleman that has been a huge part of our association for many years , Harry has turned out a in types of weather to support our teams and get them recognized in the Local papers. There is a fund raiser for him on Wednesday January 15th 7 pm at the Aldergrove Ice Arena please come and support him for all the work he has done and for the battle he now faces to recover.

The Tigers would like to congratulate The Aldergrove Dodgers on winning the Western Canadian Championships held at Aldergrove Athletic Park.The whole tournament was a great success both on and off the field,the organizing committee did a great job  and showed what Aldergrove can do.

Playing a game they had to win the Tigers kept the score close and then won it in extra innings,unfortunately they had to hope for a White rock win this did not happen.So the defensive runs against comes into play White rock gave up 14 Vancouver gave up 16 and the Tigers gave up 18 as the Ridge Meadows games do not count.They did finish with a winning record in the playoffs

Next up Summerball

With the win against Vancouver the Tigers are in the hunt for a Semi Final spot,they will need to beat Ridge Meadows and hope the other game goes their way.They must play solid defensively as our runs given up is already high.The park is still to be determined for the Tuesday night game,hopefully it will be at the park across the Golden Ears bridge.

The playoffs start on Thursday night at Home to White Rock followed by a saturday game against Vancouver and the Ridge Meadows on Monday and then semi finals.
