FEENEY OFF TO TEXAS

Kris Feeney has accepted a Partial Scholarship to play baseball at Frank Phillips Community College, near Amarillo. Frank Phillips plays in the Western Junior College Athletic Conference in North Western Texas. Teams in the Conference include Odessa, New Mexico, Clarendon, Western Texas, New Mexico Military Institute, Midland, Howard, South Plains. Recent Victorians playing in this Conference include Bobby Scott (Clarendon 05,06) and Christian Winstanley (Odessa 05) Good Luck Kris!

Jamie Benn Signs with Alaska

Standout Slugger, Jamie Benn has committed to a Hockey Scholarship with the University of Alaska, Fairbanks Nanooks of the CCHA for the 08-09 season. Currently a rookie with the Victoria Grizzlies of the BCJHL, Jamie has attained 35 goals in 37 games. Jamie is also ranked a 6th round selection among all North American Skaters by the NHL Central Scouting Bureau. The Victoria Capitals wish Jamie all the Best in his Future endeavours.

MIDGET AAA ALL-STAR TEAM TO NATIONALS IN QUEBEC CITY FOR 2007

For the first time, Midget AAA players will have the opportunity to compete amongst themselves for the 18 man roster on Team BC, which will represent the province at the National Championships in mid-August. Team BC will be a colletion of the best Midget AAA players from around the province.

The Victoria Capitals will embark on an ambitious Fall Schedule beginning Sat. Sept 9th, running through Sunday, Oct 1. The team will be comprised of a collection of AAA Midget & Premier 07 Prospects. See Schedule for Details
