Congratulations to Brandan Robbins for his scholorship to North Dakota
The Cards lost a heartbreaker in the Semi Final of the provincials 2-1 to end the year. There was big improvement throughout the year but unfortunately we just missed.
The Cards gave it a good run at the Doc Plotsky Tournament, losing the semi final in extra innings. They return to league play this weekend against Grand Prairie and Elk Point.
The Cardinals are looking good early in the season heading into the last game of round one with a 5 and 2 record. A win against SJP could give us a tier one spot.
New coaches for the upcoming season. I would like to welcome Keaton Cruthers and Jeremy Goodall as the coaches for this season. Jeremy will be joining the team at the end of May when his college is finished. I am positive that all of the players will benefit from their many years of baseball up to and including their college baseball.
Good pitching will beat good hitting any time, and vice versa. ~Bob Veale, 1966

"I became a good pitcher when I stopped trying to make them miss the ball and started trying to make them hit it." - Sandy Koufax
