Countdown to Fall Ball (Sep 1/04)
Welcome to the home page of the Richmond Braves. The Braves represent Richmond Baseball Association at the Pee-Wee AA All-Star level.
The Braves played a busy schedule of 22 games in the month of July, finishing 14-7-1. The team qualified for the Provincial Championships held in Parksville, July 28 - August 1.
After a thrilling extra-inning victory over Tsawwassen in game one, the Braves dropped games to strong teams from Kamloops and Duncan. The team finished with another solid win, this time over Ladner. With a record of 2-2 Richmond was tied with Kamloops in round robin play, however Kamloops advanced to the semi-finals by virtue of their head-to-head win over the Braves.
The short season was successful on many fronts. The building blocks are in place for a strong Richmond Bantam program next season. The team will take the month of August off, before returning for "fall ball" in September.
