Black Sox go 4-0 in Pool Play; Grab Bye Heading in to Sunday!
Dec. 04, 2024 - The Sox came out on a mission in the sun on Saturday; facing the 2-0 Las Vegas Ducks in a big pool play match-up that would decide one of the top two seeds in bracket play. The game didn’t last long, as the Black Sox scored 14 runs (12 of them earned) in the first two innings. Roger Ingram Jr. made sure the Ducks were never in the game; pitching three innings, giving up one hit, and no runs. Cap City got multiple hit games from Evan Haberle (2-3, 3B, 3 RBI’s), Jack Bauer (2-3, 2B, 2 RBI’s), Garrett Myers (2-2, 2 RBI’s), Hunter Spriggs (2-2, 2 RBI’s), and Jordan Barchus (2-2, 2B, RBI).
