OUR MISSION:

Chaleston Trojans Baseball provides an advanced approach to youth competitive baseball. Players chosen to play on each squad will be challenged to learn and develp the fundaments of baseball, work ethic, communication, and discipline to prepare for higher levels of play. Charleston Trojans Baseball is only for those players and parents as passionate about baseball as the coaches and organizers.

Eligibility:

We will consider both age and studies for player eligibilty.

Age Cut-off: Players cannot turn next age prior to May 1st to be eligible to play the previous age. Ex. If you turn 13 prior to May 1st you cannot play 12u baseball.

Studies: Must maintain acceptable grades according to parents' and coaches' standards...not just passing. If players cannot excel in the classroom and maintain acceptable grades they will not be able to play for schools regardless of skill level.

Roster Size:

Charleston Trojans is a select team with an optimal 11 player roster thru ages 13-14. Roster size will increase 15-18 as more pitchers will be needed. Although the players are selected for the most part...certain roster spots will be subject to open tryouts.

Commitment:

Players are committed to play exclusively for CTB as to not interfere with practice and tournament schedules. Off-season sports such as basketball, football, etc. are encouraged. Our main season will be spring which starts in February. Off season work outs will be optional (encouraged) while all meetings (games, practices, fundraisers) in-season are mandatory.
