Rockies take on the first place Jaxx this Saturday

The Rockies look to end there 3 game losing streak against the Bears this Saturday. The Rockies will play a double header against the Bears, with the first game starting at 3:00pm and the second game starting at 6:00pm. Both games will be played at Campbell Middle School.



Rockies add three new players to there roster

The Rockies have added Blake Cecil to there line-up. In the past 3 seasons Blake has batted .371, with 46 total hits, 5 home runs, 11 doubles, 56 runs scored, and 30 walks in 37 games with the Indians/Rangers. Blake Cecil, Grant Crowe and Jared Williams will all make there Rockies debut this Saturday night against the Reds.

The Reds (0-7) look to pick up there first win of the season as they take on the struggling Rockies (3-3).


Rockies 6  Brewers 12  F/9

The Rockies will fight for 3rd place this Saturday as they take on the always tough Brewers.
The Brewers are looking for payback after there 1 run loss to the Rockies on Opening Day.



Jaxx 6  Rockies 1  F/9

The Cobb Rockies will battle the Atlanta Jaxx for sole possession of first place this Saturday.


Rockies add Starting Pitcher and Outfielder
The Cobb Rockies have improved their roster over the Memorial Day weekend by adding former NCCAA College World Series Champion Jared Williams, as well as former Atlanta Ranger All-Star Grant Crowe. In 2009 Jared batted .406 in 32 at-bats and posted a 0.82 ERA in 11 innings pitched for the Atlanta Indians in the MABL. Last season Grant Crowe led the Rangers team in AVG (.405), Home Runs (2), Hits (15), Doubles (6), and RBI's (15). Grant also adds a strong arm to the Rockies bullpen. Jared and Grant will be joining the Rockies on June 23rd where they will help battle the Reds.

Next up the Bears
The Rockies will enjoy two weeks off before coming back to battle the Bears
on June 2, at 12 noon at Osborne High School.

Next week the Rockies take on the Reds
The Rockies look to bounce back from a devastating loss to the Cardinals last week by defeating the Reds this Saturday at Osborne High School at 7pm. The Reds are 0-1 on the year and looking to pick up their first win.

The Rockies will take on the Cardinals this upcoming Saturday at Osborne High School at 3pm.

The Rockies also hope to unveil their new uniforms which they didn't have for their opening day game last Saturday against the Brewers.

High School. First pitch is scheduled for 3pm
