Countdown to Opening Day... (May 5/07)
*****Welcome to the official website of Grant Crowe*****
Grant is entering his second year in the MABL. Grant played last semester at Clearwater Christian College in Florida where he started in right field and relief pitched. In Crowe’s first semester of college ball he was tied with the team lead in base hits. On the mound for Clearwater Crowe was hot or cold no grey area. Grant is working on his control and changing speeds on his fastball in hopes of being more consistent on the mound for the Indians in 07. Grant plans on going back to Clearwater to play ball again or possibly trying a walk on at Georgia State or Atlanta Christian College.

The Tribe handled the Yankees' in a preseason thriller. Grant Crowe picked up the win over powering the Yanks on the mound. Crowe struck out seven of the eight batters he faced. The Yanks started a late game rally. Then Myers came in with two on and one out, in the sixth inning of a 8-7 game. He walked the first batter he faced on four pithces to load the bases. It looked like Myers wouldn't be able to throw strikes, but he bounced back striking out the next two hitters to shut the door on any hopes the Yankees had of a late game come back. Myers picked up the save in an exciting 8-7 win for the Tribe.
