Game 1 

 

Jon Yarbrough makes two runs hold up for Socastee Post 178 Jr. Legion in 2-0 win over Dillon

Socastee Post 178 Jr. Legion didn't provide Jon Yarbrough with much support, but he didn't need much. Yarbrough pitched six strong innings to carry Socastee Post 178 Jr. Legion to a 2-0 win over Dillon in seven innings on Monday at Dillon.

 

Sam McKinney led Socastee Post 178 Jr. Legion's offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He singled in the third and sixth innings.

 

Socastee Post 178 Jr. Legion never trailed after scoring one run in the fourth on an error.

Game 2

Socastee Post 178 Jr. Legion falls behind in sixth inning in 6-2 loss to Dillon

Socastee Post 178 Jr. Legion lost the ballgame after losing the lead in the sixth inning Tuesday, as Dillon grabbed a 6-2 victory in seven innings at SHS.

Carson Rodgers recorded the win for Dillon. He allowed two runs over seven innings. Carson struck out five, walked two and gave up seven hits.

Dillon was sparked by Carson and Pat Herring, who teamed up for four hits and two RBIs.

The bottom of the first saw Socastee Post 178 Jr. Legion take an early lead, 1-0. Socastee Post 178 Jr. Legion's rally started when Sam McKinney singled. Jon Yarbrough singled, plating Sam.

Dillon got two-run boosts in each of the second, sixth and seventh. In the second, Dillon scored on a wild pitch, scoring Connor Anderson.

Game 3

 

Socastee Post 178 Jr. Legion drops 4-0 game to Dillon despite efforts of Austin Bridges

 

Austin Bridges did all he could to give Socastee Post 178 Jr. Legion a boost, but it wasn't enough to get past Dillon, as Socastee Post 178 Jr. Legion lost 4-0 in seven innings at Dillon on Wednesday.

Austin paced Socastee Post 178 Jr. Legion at the plate. Austin went 2-3. He singled in the second and seventh innings.

Josh Price got it done on the hill on the way to a win. He tossed seven innings of shutout ball. Josh struck out six, walked none and gave up four hits.

Dillon didn't relinquish the lead after scoring two runs in the first inning when it scored on a two-run double by Carson Rodgers.

Dillon scored one run in the second inning, and then followed it up with one more in the fifth. In the second, Dillon scored on an RBI double by Josh, bringing home Kaleb Page.
