Congratulations to the Royals for a very successful season   They won the 2024 league title with a 4-1 decision over the Hoppers  Thomas Lessmeister got the pitching victory and was named the Ace Plumbing SSBL Playoff MVP.   congratulations again in defending your title for the consecutive second year in a row

Congratulations to the Marysburg Royals as they won the 2023 SSBL league championship. 

The playoff weekend went very well with only 1 game bring delayed 15 minutes on the account of rain. With 1 game remaining in roundrobin play it was determined  3 teams could possibly be tied with 2 wins and 1 loss. After using the SBA tie breaking method, it was determined that Royals would finish first Outlaws in second and Dodgers third.  Only thing left was the Outlaws had to defeat the Hoppers at 1:00 pm Sunday. The Outlaws came out victorious 4-3 and had to play the Royals in a one game  final that was mutually agreed upon  start time of 4:00 pm. 

It was a well played game with the Royals leading 5-4 after 5 innings. After the Outlaws having a couple of chances to tie the game in the top of the 6th inning the Royals escaped still leading 5-4. They proceeded to score 4 runs in the bottom of the inning and became the SSBL 2023 League CHAMPIONS. A great final to watch. 

Also Congratulations to Nick Anderson for becoming the 2023 Playoff MVP. Nick had an allround great wekend pitching,catching and hitting. A well deserved MVP honor.
