| Game Notes: Wade Werner went the distance for the second straight appearance on the mound for the Reds but in the end Gibbon errors cost them the game. New Ulm lead 2 – 1 through seven but three Reds errors in the eighth allowed New Ulm to plate four more runs as they went on to win 6 – 2. Jason Berger and Kyle Mauer led the Gibbon offense with two hits each. Mauer also drove in both Gibbon runs. The game stayed interesting late however as tempers flared in the ninth after a hit batter. | ||||||||||||
