Moonshot for the win over Mayer

Thanks for coming out to support us last night. Was a gorgeous night at the ball park!

Let's jump to the game summary. Both teams went scoreless through the first 2 innings. In the bottom of the 3rd, Zack Nelson led off with a single followed by beautifully executed sacrifice bunt by Cam Conlin. With two outs, Casey Clemensen delivered an RBI single to score Nelson and give Cologne the 1-0 lead.

In the top of the 6th, the Mayer Blazers pieced together a walk, single and a questionable call (in our humble opinion). With 2 runners in scoring position, a 2 RBI single gave the Blazers a 2-1 lead.

In the bottom of the 7th, Casey Clemensen collected his 3rd hit of the day to reach base. Carter Clemensen then came to the plate and delivered a 2 run blast to give the Hollanders the 3-2 lead. That was all the boys would need as they held on for victory.

Graham Burke started on the mound and put on a great performance! Excellent work in his first town ball start on the hill for the Hollanders. David Solfelt remained dialed in as he shut the door in relief to seal the win!

We are right back in action tonight. We head to Lions Field in Waconia to take on the Lakers at 7:30pm. Come on our and cheer on the squad
