| Game Notes: The Thunder's six-game win streak ended with a 3-0 loss to Holy Family Fire in the Firecracker Tournament. Righthander "Easy" Eddie Hagberg (2-1) kept the club in the game with a solid five innings of work, yielding just one run (unearned) on four hits. He struck out five and walked four. Hagberg, Josh "Future" Retka (2B) and Derek Jacobson accounted for the three Thunder hits. Despite the loss, the Thunder advanced to the championship round of play Sunday by earning a wild-card birth and will face top-seed W. Aurora (IL).
