Notes:
The Thunder (3-3) stormed back in game two of the DH v. EV Blue (4-2 overall, 2-2 in division play), banging out a season-high 18 hits in a 12-6 win. Starter Brad "B-Train" Landgrebe (1-1) went four innings to pick up his first win of the season, yielding four runs on seven hits and striking out three. Matt Neutz pitched three innings in relief for his first save. The club started quickly, staking Landgrebe to a 6-1 lead. After EV Blue rallied to cut the deficit to 6-4, the Thunder responded with a four-run fifth and added two more in the seventh. Seven Thunder batters had multi-hit games, led by Jake Kruegel's three (21B, 2B, 2RBI). Beau "Ichibeau" Jacobson had two singles and a season-high four RBI; Nick "the Quick" Molitor (RBI) had two singles and scored three runs; Landgrebe went 2-for-4 and scored twice; left field tandem Adam Yahnke (2B,RS,RBI) and Brady Lindemann (2B,RS,RBI) each went 2-for-2, and Neutz (1B,2B,RBI) added two knocks and also scored once. In addition to his solid night at the plate, Lindemann made a circus catch in left to end the game. Pat Coyne (2B), JJ McKay (RBI), and "Easy" Eddie Hagberg (2RBI) each had a hit a piece. The club returns to action Saturday against Richfield II in the Richfield Tournament at Donaldson Field.
