Countdown to Rattlers vs GA Knights (May 17/08)
2008 Rattlers prove its more than just football
The TN Rattlers once again showed that this organization will exist to do more than just play football. On Saturday, March 22, 2008 the Rattler football players brought easter baskets to practice that were eventually donated to the 2nd annual FOM & YES group. The baskets were to help the easter egg hunt of a local nursing home here in Nashville. Shanetha Washington, who represented the organization at the egg hunt stated that it was joy to see the Seniors enjoy the gifts provided by the organization. The relationship that was formed will be on that will benefit both organizations for years to come.
The following is the Thanks sent to the Rattlers organization from Ms. Terry :
Good Afternoon Brother & Sisters
I just wanted to take a moment to Thank each and everyone of you for the support, on Saturday with the Easter Egg Hunt, without your Love and Support we wouldn't of had a turn out like we did.
Also we want to give a shout out to the Tennessee Rattlers who came out and helped us as well, This was our 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt for the FOM & YES group and as they say each year it gets bigger and better and with your help we put it over the top, for those of you that were unable to make it you missed a treat, we hope to see you next year.
Once again, I give much Thanks to each Lodge & Chapter, TN Rattlers, and Individuals that helped out.
