MT. VERNON - The Mt. Vernon Mustangs 15-16 VFW Team opened the 2010 season with an 8-1 win over Parkston. Starting pitcher, Nate Zens, picked up the win on the mound pitching 3 innings and giving one hit, 1 earned run, 6 walks and 6 strike outs. Cam Deinert came in to relieve Zens, pitching the final 4 frames giving up just 3 hits, no earned runs, 1 walk with 2 strike outs. |
