The UC Davis Baseball Program has set the date for their first Prospect Camp for the 2011 Summer.  The camp will be held on Saturday, June 4th from 9:00am to 5:00pm.  The UC Davis Baseball coaching staff will run the camp on the field along with current and former players.  It will be a tremendous opportunity for you to show case your ability prior to the summer recruiting season and showcases as well as see our campus and university.

We are looking for you to provide USA Baseball with a preliminary evaluation of the players on your team who may be eligible (born Jan. 1, 1995 or after) for consideration to play on the USA Baseball 16U National Team (16-under).  Players should possess excellent playing skills and should exhibit the personal characteristics necessary for highly competitive international play.  Players must be willing to commit their time to the 16U National Team for three weeks following the 16U Championships, from August 6-29 for 16UNT trials, training, and the IBAF World 'AA' Championships in Mexico.

Bethune-Cookman University is a Division I baseball program located in Daytona Beach, Florida.  It is in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference and has won 10 conference championships in 11 years with 10 NCAA regional appearances.  Coach Mervyl Melendez has seen 13 of his players drafted into Major League Baseball in the past 10 seasons.
