| Sandvipers first half of the NABA Season is coming to an end and the Second half is about to begin. Players: Fees for 2nd half due by July 15 $150.00. This needs to be paid before the 15, please arrange with Steve to get your fees taken care of. Second half will start Sunday July 31st. As soon as schedule is done it will be added and posted. All-Star Voting: Many Sandvipers have been submitted for a chance to represent the Sandvipers in the All-Star game. As soon as the All-Stars have been announced they will be posted on the web site here. Tournaments: Sandvipers will participate in 2 upcoming National tournaments. Labor Day 2011 - Labor Day Weekend (In Las Vegas) ($110 per player) World Series 2011 - October 6 - 9 in Arizona $215 per player Visit www.dugout.org for more info on either of these tournaments. Let Steve know what you plan on attending. Finally Phoenix NABA and Vegas NABA are looking at some team swaps for Second half 2011. This would send teams from Vegas would travel to Phoenix to face teams from Phoenix. Are we a team that is interested in traveling to play? We would have hotel costs and Umpires. Let Steve know what your thoughts are. We would travel a weekend or 2 and travel would be Friday night back Sunday night. |
