| well, this game ended up a little closer than it should of. The Stars battled hard with their depleted roster. We also helped the cause by leaving 8 base runners in the first three innings. I t took until the 8th before we finally put it together and brought in 5 runs. With a 9 - 3 lead going into the bottom of nine, the Stars scattered some singles along with a plunked batter and an error, to get it closebut somehow we found a way to get the last out! Great games by Dave Mac, Wardo, Lee and Darren! |
