| The sticks finally appeared as we got 5 runs in the 2nd and added 3 more by the end of the fourth. Great pitching by Rod and Ward with the backing of the rest of the defense kept the Monarchs off balance. Steve T. back off the DL all of the year up to tonight, cranked out three big hits with a couple of runs and ribbies. Ward pitched great, relieving Rod, and went 2 for 2 at the dish.....great job you guys!! |
