| The Buzzards closed the 2012 regular season, with a 13-4 win over the Eagles in South Surrey. One of our better games with the sticks, the Buzz producing 19 hits on the day. Wardo and Tony split the pitching duties, and had strong outings. Tony working 3 scoreless innings to close it out. Lotta offensive contributions;Dave Mac a pair of doubles and 3 Ribbies, Jim Romer with 3 hits including a double. Dave R. walked twice and scored 3 times, Les went 2-2 with a couple walks, two stolen bases , and 2 runs scored. Ian W. also 2 fer 2, Neil & Mike chipped in a couple hits each too. Good way to enter the playoffs guys, the quarter-final game is slated for 7 Wednesday night, also at S.Surrey. |
