Pete and Wardo combined to throw a 3 hitter over 8 innings at Robbie Burn.  It was a very well played game from both sides with the Buzz taking a 3 to 1 lead into the 7th.....there the Royals ran into pitching problems issuing us many walks to add to our lead

As teammate Darren Turik stated later in an email:

GREAT 6-1 win today at Robert Burnaby – with a line up of 10 Buzzards only and key guys out like Mac, Tony, Lee, Randy, Kevin, Rick, Jerry & Rex.
 
This was as textbook a win as I have seen in my 3 years here !   Believe we were error free against pretty solid hitting line up.
 
Hats off to Pete (player of the game) giving up 1 run over 5 and making a great catch in LF look rather easy and chipping in with a solid 1B and R.  Ward the usual solid job in relief.  They were scared of Romer who got 3 walks in clean up spot and it was fun for me to run for Romer padding his stats with a SB and R.
