Posted Apr 27/10 - Yankees prove to much for Red Sox
What was promising to be an exciting game between two cross town rivals, did not disapoint.  Starting Pitcher Kyle Labine took to the mound for the good guys, allowing only 1 earned run and a few scattered runners over 5 innings or work.  The stellar righty showed great movement on all his pitches and kept the Yankees hitters at bay through most of his outing.  Starting off strong offensivly for the Red Sox was stud short stop Kevin Crowhurst, after being hit by a pitch his first at bat, and denied an infield hit by his Coach the second at bat (although he later would change his mind) Kevin showed dominance at the plate for his last two at bats, helping blaze the path for a 7th inning 4 - 1 lead for the good guys.  However late inning pitching troubles and a number of errors in bad times would see the lead deminish for the Red Sox.  Even in the aftermathe of their second loss of the season, the Red Sox looked more like a ball club on Sunday then they did all last season.  We are all looking forward to returning home against the Irish, and are getting ready for whats going to be one hell of a game.
