The semi finals have started in the SESBL and they have not disappointed as the Langenburg Legends and Canora Supers will go to a third and deciding game on Friday July 27 in Langenburg at 6:15 PM. Both teams won their home games as Langenburg won 6-1 in game 1 while Canora came back with a 12-7 win in game 2.

In the other semi the Yorkton Yankees won game 1 8-4 over the Willowbrook Royals at Pirie Field in Melville. Game 2 saw the teams tied at 4 after 7 innings in Willowbrook where the game was called due to darkness. The game will be continued at a date and location to be determined.
