Good morning. We just had a regular construction meeting regarding Cairns Field. Initial schedules had the building at Cairns opening at the end of June but unfortunately due to some material delivery issues this may now need to be pushed into July. They are looking at options to open a section of bleachers before that if possible but the life safety systems must be operational and certified for the entire building to allow use of any portion of that building. The U18 teams hosting SaskTel production of games should contact SaskTel and Johnny to co-ordinate these productions to be sure maximum co-ordination of facilities and areas of the site that will be available at those times.

Sorry for the bad news but we are finding material availability and deliveries have been a problem since Covid was in it’s early stages. We had hoped there was enough lead time on this project but that has not been the case.
