New Munich scored two runs in the first inning and made them stand up in a 3-0 win over the Flames on Sunday afternoon, at New Munich.
Chad Mergen started and pitched six good innings for Farming, while Craig Rausch finished with two scoreless innings in relief. The team played good defense as well, making just one error in the field. But baserunners were tough come by as the Flames managed just one hit (by Brent Mergen). The loss leaves Farming 1-3 in the Stearns County League.
The ballclub opens a three-day homestand next Sunday, 1:30pm, against Spring Hill. Come on out and cheer the boys on. |
