.... Tonight's game with the New Ulm Kaiserhoff turned into a rout without a pitch thrown. RV League rulles mandate that a team must have 9 players to start a game. New Ulm showed up at Red Bird Stadium with only 6. they walked out and the Red Birds had a 9-0 victory by forfeit.

But the fans - more than 400 - were treated to a 5-inning exhibition game between the Red bird Whites and the Chanhassen Reds. The score didn't matter, but the game was fun for all in attendnance. "Take me out to the ball game" became the Third Inning Stretch. And the National Anthem was a real treat performed by Jericho Horns (Scott Sturm, Jerry Cerchia and Kenni Holman).
