Brad Mergen gave up just three hits while striking out 13, as Farming earned the fourth and final playoff birth in the SCL South.  Brad went the distance in his most impressive performance of the season.  Zach Posterick went 2 for 4 including a double.

For the season, the Flames finished 4-9 in the Stearns County League South and 6-10 overall.  Both of these win totals are improvements over last season, and we had quite a few rainouts meaning we played fewer games. 

The Flames travel to Lake Henry next Sunday, July 17, for a 1:30pm matchup against the Lakers.  Farming split with the Lakers during the regular season.  The playoffs are here -- come out and support the ballclub!
