| Posted Apr 3/12 - Braves Beat Indians in Game 2 of Mingo Bay 9-1 |
| Austin Schmitz pitched a complete game to pick up his second Varsity win of the season as the Braves defeated the Virginia Garfield Indians 9-1. Austin gave up just one run while scattering four hits and striking out seven. Offensively, the Braves scored 9 runs on 12 hits. Walker Darnell was on base four times, collecting two doubles a single and a hit by pitch. Hunter Renfrow, Dylan Thompson and Charlie Nicholson each had two hits. Manny Berdayes had a hit and two sacrifice fly's along with a hit by pitch. Chase Keevert had a single and two rbi's and RJ Bethea had a single and an rbi.
