The Bluejays used a four-run eighth inning to defeat the Flames 9-7 on Friday night, in Farming.  The game was called after eight inning due to darkness.

The Flames scored twice in the first inning, on a wild pitch and an RBI single by Mike Kotten.  In the fourth inning, Faming scored four more times.  Ian Hoffarth led off with a single, and Mike walked.  Kazz Ehlinger smoked a two-run double scoring both runners, and Craig Klein singled Kazz to third.  An error on the pitcher, and singles by Mitchell Thelen and Erik Schmidt brought home two more runs.  Derrick Roush hit a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning to score Farming's other run.

Kazz started for the Flames and threw four strong innings, striking out five batters.  Derrick, Ian Hoffarth, and Brent Mergen also took the hill for Farming.

Elrosa comes to town on Sunday for a 3:00pm tilt.  This is the makeup game from the May 6th rainout, and it'd be good to have a nice crowd in attendance.  The club has won its last three league games now, and are 3-3 in the SCL South.
