| This was another game playing a team that had played a lot recently and had nothing left,that being said the Athletics took advantage of the situation and put the game away in the first inning scoring 14 runs,it also gave our pitching staff the opportunity to use some arms that had not pitched in a while.The score would have been higher had we not started station to station in the first.This game probably had some of the longest hit singles you will ever see.there was a good play from right field gunning out the batter trying to score,offensively we had 27 hits .
