The Chanhassen Red Birds took advantage of beautiful weather and played a near perfect game on a near perfect day!

The Red Birds defeated the Winthrop Eagles, 11-1 in 8 innings this afternoon. Andrew Roy threw a complete game allowing 1 run on 5 hits and notching 8 strikeouts. Red Birds sent 10 to the plate in the 3rd inning to score 6 runs on 5 hits to break the game open. Red Birds move to 4-2 in River Valley League play.
