Posted Jun 27/12 - Three Red Birds selected to RVL All-Star Lineup

The River Valley League offices have announced their selections for the RVL v. D-R-S (Dakota Rice Scott) All Star game and three Red Birds are on the list.

T. J. Gulden - Infielder, in his 3rd year with the Red Birds; leades the team in Batting Average - .396; Hits - 19; total Bases - 26; 2nd in Slugging Percentage with .542.

Zach Swenson - 1B/C, also in his 3rd year with the Red Birds; 2nd on the team in Runs Scored - 13; tied for 2nd in total bases - 25; 3rd in Batting Average at .375; tied for 2nd in hits-18; 3rd in Slugging percentage - .521.

Justin Thompson - P/C, in his 2nd year with the Red Birds; tied for 4th on the team in RBIs; 3rd in On Base percentage at .462; 4th in batting average at .364; Team Lead in pitchng ERA at 1.35; Team Lead in Opponenets batting Average - .143; Strikeouts leader with 27 and 12.2 Ks per game.
