Chanhassen Red Birds lose to the Jordan Brewers, 11-1 in 8 innings tonight. Jordan got 6 runs in the top of the 1st off starter, Andrew Roy, and the Red Birds were deflated until Nate Swenson doubled in the bottom of the 8th and scored on Tom Bergner's single to left for a brief moment of excitement for the Red Bird faithful at the game.

Casey Malmgren relieved Andrew Roy in the 2nd and pitched solid for the remaining 7 innnings, allowing 4 hits and 2 earned runs.  Red Birds committed 4 errors and got just 3 hits. leaving 6 on base.

Tomorrow night is the big one against the Le Sueur Braves for the #2 seed in the playoffs. Game Tiime is 7:30 for Fan Appreciation Game.
