The Chanhassen Red Birds beat the Le Sueur Braves tonight to get the #2 Seed for Central Division Playoffs.

Final Score, 4-2. Justin Thompson pitched a compete game 7 hitter, striking out 11 and allowing only 1 walk.

Red Birds offense was led by Kurt Jantscher who reached base all four times to the plate; two walks and two doubles against the right field wall. Scoring twice.

Casey Malmgren drove in two runs including the game winner with a bases loaded walk in the 6th inning.

Braves scored two runs in the top of the 1st inning on a single and double and an infield error on the Red Birds. Then Justin put the clamps on the bats and silenced the Braves the rest of the way.

Next Game, Wednesday Night, July 25th, 7:30 PM at Storm Red Bird Stadium versus these Braves for a chance to play for regional seeding.
