The Chanhassen Red Birds lost to the Jordan Brewers, 4-3.

 

Chanhassen is #2 seed from the Central Division entering Region 6C tourney next week. Red Birds host the Gaylord Islanders on Wednesday night, August 1, at 7:30 PM at Storm Red Bird Stadium , "..not quite Target Field, but pretty close." - Chan Villager.

Red Birds played flawless defense but the bats didn't get hot until late in the game. John Gulden had 3 run homer in the top of 6th for Chanhassen.

Adam Kalal and Scott Hollingsworth each had 3 hits for the Brewers. Mitch Bockenstedt got the win for Jordan.  Scott Hollingsworth got the last two Red Birds in the top of the ninth with men on 1st and 2nd, to save the victory for Bockenstedt.

Justin Kurth took the loss for the Red Birds. John Gulden had two hits including the 3 run homer.
