Red Birds lost to Belle Plaine on Friday night, 11-1 in 7 innings.

Red Birds now advance to the State Tournament playing their first game on Saturday, August 18th at 11:30 AM at Faber Field in St. Cloud against the #2 Seed in Section 4. Watch this space for more information on who we play.

Tigers scored 9 runs in the first two innings and Brad Lawson coasted to the complete game victory for Belle Plaine.

Kurt Jantscher takes the loss for the Red Birds giving up 8 runs on 7 hits. Lukas Penovich relieved him in the 2nd inning and held the Tigers in check until the final two scored in the top of the 7th inning.

Congratulations to both the Tigers and the Red Birds, who both advance to the State Tournament.
