Richmond displayed good pitching and defense as they defeated the Flames 8-0 at Farming.
The Flames managed just one hit, a long single by Randy Lockridge in the seventh inning. Although we had other base runners through walks and hit batsmen, we weren't able to get hits in key situations.
Farming used four pitchers: Craig Rausch, Zach Posterick, Randy Lockridge, and Chad Mergen. Craig took the loss.
Farming stands 1-1 now in league play. On Friday, the Flames travel to Regal for a 6:15pm non-league game, and then travel to Roscoe for a 1:30pm league game on Sunday.
