Farming scored in six of their eight at-bats as they defeated Roscoe 13-11, in a wild ballgame at Farming.
The Flames trailed 3-0, 5-2, 7-4, 9-7, and 11-9 at various times during the game, but rallied in each case. A 3-run rally in the bottom of the seventh gave Farming the lead for good. The Flames managed 12 hits on the afternoon, and were the recipients of eight walks. Craig Klein led the way going 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI's. Both teams committed three errors on the afternoon.
Cody Fourre, Kaz Ellinger, Aaron Nett, and Chad Mergen pitched for Farming. Aaron got the win, and Chad the save by pitching two scoreless innings.
Farming finishes the regular season off with the victory. The Flames finished 4-9 in league play, which puts them fourth in the SCL-South.
Next Sunday, the Flames travel to Lake Henry for a 1:30pm playoff game against the Lakers.
