a solo blast in the 5th inning as Border West pumps out 9 hits in a victory to open the All-Star tournament.
Sat, July 18 - 12:00 - Border West defeats St. Boniface 5-1
**Morden's Derek Holenski pitched the complete game for the win. Border West snapped a 1-1 tie with 2 runs in the 5th, and 2 more in the 6th and blasted out another 9 hits in their 2nd round robin victory.
Sat. July 18 - 6:00 - Stonewall defeats Border West 9-1
**In a game that determined first place in the pool, Border West came up short. After getting on the board first, Border West saw Stonewall come back and tie it, before piling on the offence late. Baldur's Jordan Wickens took the loss while Cartwright's Taylor Bramwell also saw time on the mound. By finishing 2nd in the pool, Border West advanced to the semi-finals.
Sun. July 19 - 10:00 - **Semi-final** Border West defeats Kildonan 11-0
**Baldur's Travis Strain pitched the shutout helping Border West advance to the championship. Border West scored in the first inning and would have base runners in every inning except the 2nd inning
Sun. July 19 - 1:00 - **Championship Game** Border West defeats Elmwood 7-3
**Border West pumped out 3 runs on 5 hits in the first inning and never looked back en route to claiming their first provincial all-star title since 2008. Pilot Mound's Anthony Friesen pitched the first 4 innings for the win while Baldur's Bryce Watson picked up the final 9 outs for the save.
