The Greenwald Cubs scored four runs in the third inning on their way to a 9-5 victory over the Flames at Greenwald.   The Cubs had 12 hits including four doubles.

For the Flames, Greg Holthaus and John Theis each went 2 for 4, with Greg driving in one of the runs.  Brent Mergen had a double and an RBI, and Derrick Rausch had a double.  The Flames had 10 hits on the afternoon.

Ryan Schleper pitched the first 2 1/3 innings, followed by Brad Mergen for 2 2/3.  Matt Blackmore pitched the final three innings.
