The Flames got a much needed win on Friday night as they defeated the visiting St. Nicholas Nicks 4-3 in an entertaining game.

The Flames trailed 3-2 as they batted in the bottom of the ninth.  Brent Mergen led off the inning with a double, then Ian Hoffarth had a bunt single with Brent taking third.  Ian took second base uncontested, putting runners on second and third with nobody out.  After the next two Flames were retired without either baserunner scoring, Zach Posterick drilled a double into deep left center, scoring both Brent and Ian. 

On Sunday, the Flames travel to Roscoe to face the Rangers at 1:30pm.  Hope to see you there!
