Gaylord visited Red Bird Stadium and pounded out 15 hits in an 11-4 win over Chanhassen on Tuesday evening. 

The Islanders got 7 runs in the first three innings and coasted the rest of the way on strong pitching from WP Josh Gasow who worked 6 innings, and Tim Young who worked the last three, recording 6 called third strike Ks. Islanders C Jon Waltz went 3-4, scoring 2 runs and getting 3 RBIs; CF Colin Grams went 2-5 with 3 RBIs.

Cary McLaughlin worked 5 innings for the Red Birds and took the loss, giving up 9 runs on 9 hits.  John Skubic worked 4 innings in relief allowing 2 runs on 6 hits.  CF Jeff Pavlovich, went 3-5 as one bright spot for the home team.
