2012 Preview.....

The St. James A’s prepare to have an excellent year after a strong finish in 2011 playoffs.

With the dedication of 3 strong 3^rd year players, they will hopefully finish what they started last year.

 

The following 3, 3^rd year players have played together for many years, and it shows with their on-field communication skills;

 

 

-Brandon Gray: whether playing in-field or out-field, Brandon always delivers a reliable game. This will be Brandon’s 9^thyear with the St. James A’s.

 

-Denver Sellner: Achieved Player of the Month for May (2011). Denver’s strong skills at 2^nd base are always dependable and had a batting average of .325. This will be Denver’s 9^th year with the St. James A’s.

 

-Tyler Wiwchar: 2011 St. James A’s MVP, a solid catcher and strong batter. He batted .412 in last year's playoffs with two home-runs to help win the series.

 

-Josh Robinson and Ethan Plante will be joining the A’s this season and are both currently attending the University Of Winnipeg and playing for the Wesman Baseball team’s inaugural season.

 

-Ryan Johnson a dynamite left-handed pitcher will be returning. Ryan had a batting average of .467 and ERA of 1.62 (2011 playoffs).

 

Players to watch:

 Brett Thiessen- .426 batting average and ERA of 2.36 (2011 playoffs)

 Matt Craine- Strong starting pitcher.
